dedicated her life-long learning interests to promoting
her love of horses through her programs that promote
education with the American Mustang and a Miniature
Horse

Joe is the “Official Horse Ambassador” for NARHA and is
featured on WAHL Clipper Equine packaging
His story is unique as he was born
in 1995 and roamed the mountains above Lake Tahoe for
the first 6 years of his life as a wild mustang.
He was adopted through the
BLM Wild Horse project and began a journey of becoming
domesticated for our equine society.
Featured for 12 consecutive months in
Horse Illustrated Magazine
Traveled the Midwest and performed an
act at the Dodge Worlds Toughest Rodeo’s

Relocated from
Sterling, IL to
Darby, MT and become experienced in a wide variety of
equine disciplines, that range from barrel racing
clinics, trick horse training, team roping, goat tying,
extreme cowboy race and mounted shooting.
During all of these equine training disciplines
he was also preparing for his biggest role of his
lifetime, becoming a therapeutic riding horse
Traveled from coast to coast
appearing at all 3 Equine Affaires located in
Massachusetts – Ohio – California, Farm Progress Shows in Iowa and
Illinois , Mills Fleet Farm Days in Wisconsin, Murdoch
Store Locations in Wyoming & Montana,
VA Hospital in
Tomah, WI, MT Muscular Dystrophy Camp in Harve, MT and
Youth Camps at Camp Mak a Dream, Drummond, MT.
He
has participated in hundreds of educational venues that
help people understand therapy riding and the benefits
He
is also diverse and athletic that he still competes in
events and most recently won the 2009 SL1 Cowgirl
Division @ the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Finals in
Amarillo, TX
Nevada Joe has been featured
on a variety of RFD-TV programs throughout the
years. He
competed for 3 years in the televised Corn Maze Shootout
held in Deer Groove, IL which
he won with Diane and team mate Chad Little.

Inducted into the Wild Horse and
Burro Hall of Fame
Nevada Joe along with Diane’s husband
Ernie developed the WAHL “Dare to Shootouts” which are
conducted across the country and also held at the CMSA
National Finals in Tunica, MS and World Finals in
Amarillo, TX
We are proud to announce that the
SuperHorse Championships has added a program that will
include Nevada Joe and local NARHA Centers across the
country at their upcoming events
This is truly an
amazing story as Nevada Joe was given a second chance
and now he is giving back as hundreds of students ride
him each year in his WAHL Dare to Dream program and all
the venues he attends.
